What counts as an active project?

A project with status "active." Completed and archived projects don't count toward your limit and are free to keep forever.

Do my clients need to pay?

No. Client portal access is always free and unlimited. Your clients never see a bill from Setout.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contracts on Pro. Pay monthly or save with annual billing. Premium is annual only (first year includes setup).

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. You can export everything at any time. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Hosted on AWS in Australia. All data encrypted at rest and in transit. Regular backups. SOC 2 compliance in progress.

What's an AI credit?

AI credits power Setout's automated features — photo tagging, meeting transcription, report generation. Each action costs a set number of credits. Unused bundled credits reset monthly; purchased credits roll over for 12 months.
